Executive Board Members

The members of the Executive Board, consisting of Adrian Holler, Chairman of Big Rock Sports, Curtis Strange, 30 year veteran of the PGA Tour and 2007 inductee to the World Golf Hall of Fame, and Dale Britt, local charter boat Captain of the "Sensation" on the Morehead City waterfront are thrilled to be involved in such a successful event and being able to give back to the community.  This group of guys had a dream to create an event that would provide entertainment, generate tourism for our community and fund their chosen charities.  Now in its 6th year they are pleased to say that the tournament has given over $220,000 to the Take A Kid Fishing Foundation and to the Crystal Coast Hospice House.

Tournament Director

The Wahoo Challenge's full time director, Holly Fletcher, joined the team in 2008.  Holly's experience ranges from working upon the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line vessels to managing international adventure programs for teenagers.  She brings with her a ton of energy and load of enthusiasm and is committed to continuing to grow this event and give more to the charities and the community.

Working Board

The success of this event can be measured by the love and dedication of the Working Board - and that is huge!  These individuals give their time, their energy and their expertise and are invaluable to the tournament.  They do it all and The Wahoo Challenge is proud to have them as part of the team.  Each member is dedicated to making our community a better place.
